MORAN, Christopher
Francis (Chris):
16 September 1951 -
28 November 2017
It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Chris, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Our thoughts and prayers are wrapped around his lovely wife Sharon and sons Damian and Tristan and daughters-in-law, Cheryl and Kate and grandchildren Ethan and Florence. Chris was VIP #5 (Very Injured Players). He was injured playing rugby in Waihi, playing for Waihi Athletic Club on 12.08.1973. He was 21 at the time. He became a tetraplegic C5/6. He has played such a vital role in our VIP community and was always a great example to the younger guys of "what is possible" in life.
Rest now lovely man
From the NZ Rugby Foundation Board, Staff and VIP Family.
