Remember Ian growing up in Greymouth. He was a good friend of my brother, Bob and another friend Jack McKay. Have a photo of him in 1955 Cobden Rugby League Team. Sincere condolences to all his family. A talented guy sorely missed. Part of my childhood now gone. Norma Nicolle nee Newcombe.

Ian was a great guy i have great memories of working with over the years on the Coast. I first met him at Burkes creek where he ran the workshop. A practical man and a dab hand on the tools he was always fun to be around in the workplace with his Twizel stories. Condolences to all family members RIP.
