So sorry to hear of Mrs Parker's death. Many fond memories of my time at Redwoodtown School in the 1980s, although I never had her as my teacher I respected her all the same. I was also friends with daughter Sandra at St Christophers Church. Kind regards, Leanne Overend (nee Matthews)

Two generations of the Burr family received excellent teaching from Joy, and we enjoyed a continuing friendship until recently. Joy was also an accomplished athlete - I was never up to her standard, no matter how hard I tried! Condolences to the family.
