Alison BARRETT Obituary

On June 28, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family, at Hospice Marlborough, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bernie and a loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of David and the late Sharon; Chris and Linda (Taranaki); and Mark and Wendy (Taranaki). A loved Nana of Carla and Luke. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marlborough Hospice Trust via their website would be appreciated. In accordance with Pat's wishes, a private cremation will take place. Pat will be interred alongside Bernie at Okato Cemetery, Taranaki.

I grew up with my grandparents in Rahotu as neighbours to Pat and Bernie. Bernie was my grandfathers best mate - joined at the hip. When bernie passed in '92 it was like my grandfather had lost a leg. Even though I was only young I remember them both well, and Pat was always a friendly face with a big smile next door.
