Sunrise 1.6.1951 - Sunset 26.7.2025

After a life well lived, Allan found peaceful rest on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Marlborough Hospice, with family at his side. Much loved husband of Diane sharing 53 years together, father and father-in-law to Melanie and Anaru, Melissa and Gavin. Adored Grandfather "GG" of Kurahaupō, his beloved "Te PeÌ?pi" his absolute pride and joy whom he held a special affection for. Grandfather figure to Pīata and Madison. Son of the late Errol and Valerie Gifford. Brother of Norma and Karen, brother-in-law of Gary and Stewart. Special thanks to the District Nursing Team, Wairau Hospital and Marlborough Hospice for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers a donation to the amazing team at Marlborough Hospice would be gratefully appreciated via their website or can be made at the service. For all those unable to attend this service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.

His legacy is sown deep in the fields he loved.
