Arthur MORRISON Obituary
On Sunday, March 6, 2022 at home in Stoke, aged 77 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Elspeth, loving father and father-in-law of Angus and Rebecca (London), Stuart and Carolyn (Richmond), Catherine (Hamilton). Much loved and proud grandfather of Leah and Michael, Sophie and Thomas. Our special thanks to Dr Stephen Neas and to the Hospice team, especially Michelle, their care and professionalism was very much appreciated. A private cremation has been held.

Sad to hear of Johns passing...I can still hear his deep happy laughter...and remember his calling in when we lived in Oamaru...the hard case mustered with the brown Vanguard carwith no seats in the back...more room for his team if dogs.
Tamed by Elspeth, always telling stories, a great stockman, a nd a great family man.
Always remember you John

So sorry to learn of John's passing. So many wonderful memories of him when we both worked at Molesworth Station and a
holiday with him and his siblings in Southland.
It was on my bucket list to catch up with John but sadly that will not be happening now.
He was my first choice as my best man but unfortunately he was living in the North Island in 1968 and wasn't able to do so.
I feel sad today to learn of his passing, but very grateful that I could call John my friend.
