Avril HANGER Obituary
Peacefully on February 18, 2017 at HB Regional Hospital, aged 84 years. Much loved wife of the late Les. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Steve and Cheryl and Darren (deceased) and Kay. Special friend of Bill. Loved and loving nana of Josh and Purdie, Jeremy, Charlene, Russell, Rochelle, Karl, Santana, Aleisha, and her great-grandchildren.
"Forever in our hearts"
The family wish to acknowledge the loving care received from the staff at the ICU and emergency department. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Avril's life at St Mark's Presbyterian Church, 912 Queen Street East, Hastings, on Thursday February 23 at 1.30pm. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Save the Children Fund, left at the service, will be gratefully received. Messages to the Hanger family C/o PO Box 967 Hastings 4156.

It was so lovely to be able to view the live feed for Avril's funeral today as I couldn't be there, was such a lovely send off for Avril, it felt like I was there with you all sharing such a special family time.
