RN. Born Cromwell 23.06.1924. Died Auckland 10.01.2015. Elder daughter of Ronald McCredie and Winifred (Hotop). Sister of Blair Alison (Robbie). Partner of Tony, parent with Bill Hall of Josie and Peter and grandparent to Aimee (deceased), Sarah, William, Benjamin Tucker, and Jamie Hall. Great-grandmother to Luke and Chloe Tucker. Mother-in-law to Geoff Tucker and Adele Hatton. Aunt to Mark Robbie of Lawrence. A private cremation has been held at Barbara's request. Tireless worker, land girl, nurse, fashion business, gardener and cook at rest.

I remember Barbara as a senior nurse , afternoon supervisor at Green lane Hospital she was a great nurse had compassion and the get on and get it done attitude we all loved her she gave support to us all a wonderful sense of humour Barb gave us the confidence to make a decision and that's what stayed with me thru my nursing years just do it farewell Barb Sue Beaumont Orr
