Aged 91 years. Taken suddenly to be with her beloved husband and friend, Cyril, on his birthday. Much loved mother of Julie and Steve Gunby (Christchurch), Trevor and Maxine, Anne and John Newman, Peter and Julie (New Plymouth), Steven and Kim (Wellington), Paul and Michelle. Cherished Nan of her 21 grandchildren and
13 great-grandchildren. Best friend and loved sister of Joyce Clinton. Messages to 155 Budge Street, Blenheim 7201. In accordance with Barbara's wishes a private family service has been held.

My sincere sympathy to you all on the passing of your much loved mother.
Barbara was a dear friend to my mother Pauline Finnie and a part of our childhood. She will be remembered with fondness.
You will treasure many precious memories.
