Born May 22, 1944, Suva; passed July 28, 2022, Renwick. The beautiful, magnificent, magnanimous Betty Beavis (née Knight) passed suddenly and peacefully on July 28 at her home in Renwick, aged 78. Betty was a widely adored figure and a cherished mother to Geoffrey and Stephanie Beavis, Tanya and Steven Sutton, and Milly Cooper. She was also a kind, loving and sorely missed Granny to James, Daniel, Hayden, Sam, Nicola, Corey, Hannah, Harvey, Hudson and Sullivan, and Granny Fairy to all. There will be a service to celebrate the reki/joy, kindness and generosity with which she blessed the world at 2.00pm on Tuesday, August 2, at Cloudy Bay Funeral Services Chapel, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim. For those who wish to, an open casket will be open for farewells between 12pm and 1pm. The 2.00pm service will also be available as a live-stream and may be viewed at www.cloudybayfunerals.co.nz
