BOWERS, Betty Mary (nee McNabb):
Passed away, peacefully, at Ashwood Park Retirement Village, on Sunday, January 24, 2016. Aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Walter James (Wally), beloved mother and mother-in-law of Margaret and Bill Dick, Wendy and Anzac Macdonald, Cliff and Beryl, and Lesley. Beloved Grannie of Cynthia, Rae, and Grant; Brett, Russell, Gillienne, and Katarena; Rebecca and Olivia; Simon, and Cosima. Loved great-Grannie of 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Messages may be sent to 15 Dodson Street, Spring Creek 7202. In lieu of flowers, a donation of Alzheimers Marlborough would be appreciated and may be made at the service or sent to c/- 8 Wither Road, Blenheim 7201. A service for Betty will be held at the Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, at 1.30pm, on Thursday, January 28, followed by interment at Fairhall Cemetery.
