My Dearest Mum, there was no biological connection between us, but I will be forever grateful that you came into my life way back in 1964. I learnt so many things from you, to name a few, how to knit a jumper, preserve fruit, make a meal out of next to nothing, and grow a beautiful garden. I have so many wonderful memories like 'happy hour' watching a taped episode of 'Emmerdale' with a cosy fire going and some potato chips to munch on, caddying for you at the Maramarua Golf Club when a tournament was on, and all those fun filled Christmas Day family gatherings, which I'm sure left you completely worn out.
Thank you for always being there for whatever my need was, in the Papakura, Mangatangi, Miranda, and Ngatea years. It's your turn to rest now Mum. I love you and look forward to seeing you again at a future time and place, that I know without a doubt, will come. xo

My deepest sympathy to all the Waterman family. I have very fond memories of Betty and Eric living at Miranda and Ngatea.
My late husband Neville and I enjoyed a visit with Betty in Blenheim 10 years ago . Betty´s was a delightful lady and I have very fond memories of her. Rest In Peace Betty.
Regards, Angela Williams and family
