I very much enjoyed Brian's company in a number of cases where it would usually be me travelling over the hill from Nelson to join in battle in the Blenheim court. He was always such a gentleman and very fair. Also Brian was a persuasive and lucid advocate. I will miss his judgment and sense of balance.

Hi Gail and family, look so sorry to hear that Brian has gone to join great linguists and fellow humans like John Cleese and Spike Milligan.
I am sure he will fit in well with that ethereal crew but he will be sorely missed here on planet earth.
On the final analysis, Brian's best advice would have been
ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE.
And may your epitaph be..
I did tell them I was sick.
Fond memories
Maurice Carolyn Jason Michael. We are all thinking of you.
