Brian NORTON Obituary
Brian Geoffrey:
Born April 25, 1941, died August 17, 2015, 74 years. Our beloved Father and friend passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2015 after a long illness. Son of the late Thomas and Frances Norton, brother to Ynys Tommy Johnny Colin Mickey Paddy Noel Geoffrey Jimmy and Ray and the late Billy, Berys, Jenny and Yvonne. He is survived by his daughter Kiri, and sons, Rik and Te Ari, grandchildren, Te Reina, Rhain, Rachel, Olivia-Rose and Joshua and great-grandchildren, Riley and Leila. Following a Memorial service in Auckland on Thursday, August 20, Brian will be at the Waikawa Marae from 10am on Saturday, August 22, 2015. All welcome to join us there. Following this Brian will be interred at Picton Cemetery at 1pm.

Dear Kiri, Rik, Te Ari and your families, my loving thoughts are with you all in your sorrow. Your Dad was a kind, humble and gentle man whom I know, loved you all very dearly. I am so pleased I managed to say goodbye to him just two weeks before he passed away. He was ready to go and is now at peace. Lots of love Aunty Myrna.

My heartfelt and sincerest condolences to Kiri, Rik and Te Ari for the passing of your father Brian.He was a man with a big heart and would go out of his way to accommodate people and especially those on the fringes of society.
