Bryan WOOD Obituary

Died unexpectedly in Blenheim, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Val, his devoted wife since August 14, 1971. Dearly loved fiancé of Rachel Egan, son of the late Doris and William (Bill) Wood. Missed by his relatives and friends. Special thanks to Hato Hone St John Ambulance, Blenheim Police and Fire Brigade, Gail and Ken. Messages may be sent to Rachel, 119A Maxwell Road, Blenheim 7201. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Marlborough Associated Modellers Society Inc (MAMS) would be appreciated and may be made at the service or to SBS a/c 031355 0512739 00 Ref. WOOD. A service for Bryan will be held at the MAMS Clubrooms, 8 Arthur Baker Place, Brayshaw Park, Blenheim at 11.00 am on Friday, April 19.

I was really shocked and sad to hear of Bryan's passing after only seeing him the day before. He was a good friend and member of the CSMEE train club in Halswell and I'll miss seeing him from time to time. Sorry for your loss Rachel. Kind regards. ANDREW HAWKE.

We were both shocked and saddened to hear of Bryan´s sudden passing.
We bought our property off Bryan late 2022 and we stayed in touch since then.
Rachel and he often popped in when they were in the area to see our progress on the house renovations.
RIP Bryan and our condolences to Rachel at this time .
