On August 29, 2017, suddenly at Redwood Retirement Village, in his 78th year. Loved oldest son of the late George and Isabel Akerblom. Loved older brother of Barry and Pat, and Ross and Pam. Loved uncle of Lyndon and Andrea, and Kerry. Loved great-uncle of Chloe and Daniel. Respected friend of Hazel and Ian Hislop. Messages to Flat 2, 51 Brooklyn Drive, Redwoodtown, Blenheim 7201. Thank you to the staff at the Redwood Retirement Village for the care they gave to Lester. A Memorial Service will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim, on Tuesday, September 5, at 2.00pm.
