I knew Chris in the 1980s, and remember him as jolly and friendly, a wonderful father to his young children, and a loving companion to Linda. He was one of those people you could not but like. I extend my condolences to all the whanau. Nigel

To Linda, Matthew and Morgan and family
Chris was our insurance broker for many years followed by Matthew. Chris was always helpful and enjoyed talking about his family sharing with pride what they were up to. I first met Linda, Matthew and Morgan at the University of Canterbury Childcare centre many years ago.
Our deepest sympathy to you all. Treasure all your wonderful memories of the times you had. Regards Sue and David Pulley

My deepest feelings of sadness Linda for your loss of Chris. I will treasure the memories I have of him. He was a very sincere and friendly person and had a way of making people feel important to him. His journey with illness was courageous and inspiring. In a happy memory I agree with another comment about the elderberry cordial. Chris really put his stamp on the elderberry. Take care Linda. Treasure your memories as they carry you through these sad days. With my sincerest thoughts to you and to the memory of Chris. Best thoughts Julie Coster

In Loving Memory of Chris Constable
We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chris Constable. His warmth, kindness, and affable nature left a lasting impression on us. Chris had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and he will be remembered fondly.
We will never taste elderflower cordial without thinking of him - a small but special reminder of the joy he brought into everyday moments. Chris and Linda´s dedication to the community, especially through their work on the Balcairn Hall, stands as a testament to their generous natures and commitment to others. Today the hall will echo with the legacy of his efforts and the lives he touched.
To Mat and the Constable whanau, please accept our heartfelt condolences. Chris will be truly missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Chris.
