So saddened to hear of Christine´s passing.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Christine through speedway connections in the late 70´s, and found her to be a very caring person who took great pleasure in sharing motherhood with me at that time.
She had a heart of gold and a great sense of humour for which I will always remember her.
She will be sadly missed.
Rest in peace Christine x

It was with great sadness to hear of Christine´s passing. She was a lovely lady. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I had a long association with her from showing dairy cattle and my involvement with the Purebred Jersey Cattle Society. She will be sadly missed.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend her farewell.
Love to you all.

I worked with Christine on the Rarangi Residents' Association. She was our Treasurer. I often called on her for advice, not always about finance. She was great and helped me a lot. She helped calm me down sometimes. She was very generous with her time and contributed in many ways. She will be missed. Best wishes to all her family. James Travers, Rarangi.

I will remember Christine for her quiet strength and her wicked sense of humour.
I came to be friends with Christine when she and l were on the Rarangi Residents Committee together .She was an excellent treasurer and she helped me in my role as secretary. Many times l would pop down for advice and Christine would stop work at her computer and sort the problem.
I know that the last few months has been a struggle for Christine but you know what she never complained.
Will miss you friend....Annie Lomax, Rarangi.

Still lost for words that this has happen at such a young age Aunty Chris. Only seems like yesterday that we were spending time at the farm's on
Toko/ Hunter/ Plamer Road's or the sewing days when you would whip something up for us or change a pattern around completely and say now that's better. I'll keep up the shopping trips that we use to have don't worry about that. Many a special memories will be held onto forever. Fly free.

My sincere condolences to Christine's family. She is gone too soon.
She was a great colleague and friend in RAS Conferences and WDC meetings, and when judging at Taranaki shows. We roomed together several times when away at meetings.
She was courageous and fair; thoughtful, generous and kind; always cheerful, and helping others. She stood up for what she believed in.
She so loved her house & garden by the sea in Marlborough - a sincere and genuine friend, remembered always. A sad loss to all.
