I have many memories of the different David's.
At first, David was my teacher as a young apprentice.
Later, David was my colleague as we shared a very small office for 9 years teaching at Wellington Polytech.
Most of all, David was a good friend with whom we shared many days with our families, both in the Sounds and at home in Wellington.
On reflection, the words that come to mind are:
The Bango, The Art auction, The sounds Breakfasts and that set net' with the fake lobster. Just to name a few.

Thanks for the memories D. You were 1 in a million.
E noho ra buddy.

May you all find courage in the days and months ahead as you come to terms with Davids passing. May you find strength in the love and memories you share and may the memories of others give you the support thru this sad time. David taught me at the Intercontinial Haridressing Accadamy when he first arrived in New Zealand. 1966 if memory serves me correctly. Have always admired his skills and his personality. he will be sadly missed.

Our memories of David are associated with our family summer holidays at Little Ngakuta Bay. We will remember the lovely sound of his playing the banjo on his deck at night, having the occasional drink and his involvement in development of the facilities at the Bay for everybodies enjoyment.
Lynn and Alan Naysmith and girls.
