Very sadden to hear of Brunty's passing. He was a great supporter of the New Zealand Cadet Forces and No27 Blenheim SQN Air Training Corps. I well remember great conversation and expert advice when our SQN faced hard times. My heartfelt sympathies to the Family. (thanks Brunty)

I wish to pass on our condolences to the Brunt family, this comes from myself and a lot of ex RNZAF personnel that I have been in touch with this week. All have kind words to say and their own personal memories to share with me. I'm sure they amongst others will raise a glass for "Mr Brunt" tonight. This comes from myself, David Taucher, Steve Skudder, Bruce Stronach, Craig Bennett to name a few.

A good man who set high standards, and importantly, held people to them. A good man who recognised the value of doing something properly. And a good man to have a beer with.

My condolences to the Brunt family. Brunty - may you rest in peace.

Dave could be a grumpy old bugger at times. He was an epitome of a military Warrant Officer. I held him in immense respect, he was a terrific mentor to me and an great friend. I guess he was called upon to sort a few things out 'up stairs'. – They will be in for a shock!

Rest well my friend

Very sad to hear of Dave's passing. He was a Grocer of high standing (highest standards), who had the respect of all Ranks....both within Supply and during his time at GSTS. I very much enjoyed our random talks at Camp Pack Up and the Mess. One of the great characters. I guess Mainstore upstairs will be getting reorganised, and will be the better for it.

Will always remember Brunty for being a straight up and honest bloke who was willing to give advice whenever I needed it (even when I never asked for it!). You will be missed my friend.
