David HENSON Obituary

Dear Maureen, Kim and Families,
David and I met through work many years ago and became firm friends.
He was a very caring man with a heart of gold. He had a great sense of humour and was generous with his time and energy in whatever he undertook.
He will be missed by us.

You put up such a brave fight David, and we didn't want to see you go either. But they must have needed someone to organise things upstairs, maybe letting them know how to run the kitchens. And yes, when we all got together, we needed that! I reckon that's why you were called too early.
So, Cheers D2. And we'll have a good get together again in your name when we can.

Dearest Maureen, I'm sad at our loss of this long time buddy.
I am so glad that he has you in his life journey and that you have spent some wonderful times together. Built some wonderful stories as I have with my one of my besties. Davo has been one of the most honest people I have met. I will miss our chats.

You were a gentleman and a respected "almost" brother in Law to the Rush Family in Kawerau. Your unwavering energy in our kitchen when it came family do's was impressive.
