I was really sorry to hear of the passing of Dave (or Mr Stace, as he was to me during my childhood). He was a lovely man with a warm smile and a wicked sense of humour. He was also a great friend to my parents. It was my pleasure to have known him.

Quite a shock to learn of David's untimely passing. Sincere condolences to Rachel and extended family. Fond memoires of David as a Boarder at Nelson College back in the day ( 65 - 67) and though our paths have not crossed in more than 50 years, finally had a catch up a few months back. Grateful for the chance, however was looking forward to more. So Sad. You'll be missed.
