Derek FILLBROOK Obituary
Derek (Sailor):
On October 31, 2016, peacefully at the Marlborough Hospice, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband, soulmate and friend of Judith. Much loved father and father-in-law of Wendy and Brendon Townsend, Mark; and Lana and Todd Wagner. Much loved Pop of Nathan, Hannah and Tim; Chiara and Derek; Eva and Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Marlborough Hospice, c/- PO Box 411, Blenheim 7240, would be appreciated or may be made at the service. A celebration of Derek's life will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim, on Saturday, November 5, at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium.

Judith & family, sorry to hear of Derek's passing. He was the anchor man of the Working Men's Soccer Team and I enjoyed playing with and battling against him. He was a true character of Marlborough soccer and will be truely missed.
