Andrew DiMaggio Obituary

Andrew Philip DiMaggio of Walnut Creek passed peacefully on July 23, 2024. Andrew is survived by his mother Carol Papetti DiMaggio, father Dr. Vincent Patrick DiMaggio, and sister Sarah DiMaggio, as well as many relatives and friends who greatly loved him.  

Andrew was a graduate of De la Salle High School, Concord. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated from Saint Mary's College, Moraga with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuropsychology. At Saint Mary's College, Andrew enjoyed playing rugby. 

Andrew was a talented musician who played guitar, wrote music, and was lead vocalist for three Bay Area bands with his best friends. He loved animals, photography, travel, and art.  Andrew was creative, kind, and sensitive.  He had a deep and enduring impact on the lives of all who knew and loved him.

A private gathering of family and friends is planned to celebrate Andrew's life, many talents, and compassionate spirit. 

Andrew's love for animals knew no bounds. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to the Best Friends Animal Society at Bestfriends.org.
