Edwin O'DONNELL Obituary

I have fond memories of Dr. O'Donnell,
he was my first doctor when I came to NZ, he delivered my first born son in 1981. I will never forget him turning up in his pyjamas tucked into a pair of gumboots, and white coat over the top. He made me laugh through the pain, and I changing my mind about having a baby and wanting to go home instead.
I have always cherished those memories; one of the finest people anyone could ever meet; RIP

Selfishly I would have prefered he was eternally on the job and with us always.

So sad to read of Ed´s passing. Sadly I didn´t know until our Joanne rang me today. We were unable to attend his funeral but Joanne will be there for us. A wonderful Dr for our family from when we arrived in Blenheim over 50 years ago. A special person. Thinking of all his family at this sad time. Especially Jenny who became our GP after Ed retired. Rest in Peace dear Ed
