When you care for your parent in a loving way that you and your family did for Aunty Janet, the pain does not lessen, instantly however the sweet memories of being alongside them as they make that journey back to our Father in Heaven does give us some comfort. Your Mum was a person who believed in Jesus Christ our Saviour, she was a great musician who love her family so very much and was a kind person that also cherished her nieces and nephews. I have had some wonderful times with her and Uncle Royd as a child, and they were there for me in Mahia when Darryl drowned. Darryls family send their condolences to you and your brothers and sisters. Uncle Royd visited each one of them after Darryls funeral taking the widows and the poor food and supplies from the Hakari at his Tangi. When I worked for the Great War Exhibition in Wellington, your Dad always came up to the Korean war services on ANZAC Day and the ANZAC day after he has passed away, I went to that service and laid a poppy in remembrance of him and his services and for Aunty Janet who always supported him all their married life. We love all of you our cousins Carolyn, Joanne, Tony, Rodney, Sam and Angie our love is sent to your whanau and Aunty's grandchildren and great grandchildren Arohanui Heather and the late Darryl Webber, Glenn, Andrea, Scott and Richard Webber, Grandchildren Lizzie Kuranui Webber, Ariana, Caitlin, Jade Taufale, Taneatua, Arikinui, Mikaia and Hoani Webber, and Maxwell Darryl and Aylah Webber.

We were sad to hear that Janet has moved on , we will miss her , she always wanted to hear what was happening in your life . Our connection goes back many years through the Scottish Society and Scottish Country dancing . A memorable evening Allan & I had with Janet was when the 3 of us went to the show Foster & Allan in Blenheim which we all throughly enjoyed & had our photo taken with them after the show .
