Elva ADAMS Obituary
Elva passed away very peacefully at Wairau Hospital aged 89. Her humour, irreverence, love of life and willingness to share her opinions will be sorely missed by family and friends. Loved wife of the late Richard (Dick), Mum and mother-in-law to Peter and Helen, Cindy and Mike, Sherril and the late Jonathon, Toni and Fred, the late Brent and Peggy, Grant and Rita, Sandra and Kevin. She will be very much missed by her 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Any messages to 376 New Renwick Road, Fairhall 7272. A private cremation has taken place and notice of a celebration of Elva's life will be circulated shortly.

Elva was a dearly loved and special friend of the late Maxine and Rex Garlick. It was always a celebration when Mum and Dad and Elva and Dick spent time together. Oh the stories and laughter. Remembered always.

Your mum came into my life when I was in my late teens, I was an apprentice, she was my(our) work colleague
Her, always bright, happy go lucky attitude to life was infectious ( I sort of wished she was my mum)
So many memories with you Adamses, you guys were lucky to have her as a Mum (friend)
My day will be filled with the memories of Elva ...and that laugh!

Such a sad loss to everyone. So much of my childhood revolves around the Adam's household. Living next door to Elva (and the late Dick and Brent) along with the rest of the mad bunch was an absolute pleasure. My condolences to Peter, Sherril, Cindy, Toni, Grant, and all the family.
