GIFFORD, George:
Born Michael John Windleburn, 19.07.1946 to Irene Winifred Windleburn. Dearly loved husband and best mate of Marg. George passed away peacefully in Marg's arms, at home Sunday, October 8, 2017, surrounded by family and friends. Loved Dad and mate of Mike and Anne and Father of Tracy. Grandfather of Christina, Rachel, Brad, Bridget, Nina, Fallon and Jonty. Dearly loved stepdad of Matt and Rochelle Dodds and adored naughty Pa of Tyne, Ava, Archie and John (Bunbury WA). Messages to Marg Gifford, PO Box 85, Renwick. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Marlborough Hospice c/- PO Box 411, Blenheim 7240, would be appreciated or may be made at the service. George will be at home in his much loved shed, from 11.00am, Tomorrow (Thursday). All friends are welcome. A celebration of George's life will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim, on Friday, October 13, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium.
