Graeme was a stalwart of the Picton Rail and Sail crew. We're always grateful that he made time in his very full life to ride the rails with us! He will leave a much-missed gap in our roster -kind-hearted, friendly and a very safe pair of hands on the regulator!

Please accept my sincere condolences. Sorry I am not in New Zealand and able to attend the Service. My admiration for Graeme started a long way back when he was DEng and I was a new Flying Officer in his RNZAF Directorate of Engineering organization. Great Leader for whom I had an exceptional degree of respect throughout my 23 year RNZAF career and when we had business dealings after that. What a sad loss for New Zealand but his RNZAF legacy will always remain, both visible and relevant.

Kindest Regards,

Michael Pobog-Jaworowski (PJ)

Norma, my thoughts are very much with you in the
loss of your lifetime companion Graeme. Special
memories for me with you both at the golf club,
happy times. Also being part of the Woodbourne team at RNZAF golf tournaments, the special
bond Graeme had with his fellow buddies.
My grand daughter Eloise loved all the special
times he drove the train on the foreshore in
Picton, he made the trips memorable.
Many memories of a fine man.
