Gregory ARCHER Obituary
Gregory John (Greg):
Passed away peacefully at his home in Reefton, surrounded by his loving family, on July 14, 2022, aged 85. Deeply loved husband of the late Ann, cherished and respected Dad and father-in-law of Allan and Kim, Jocelyn Archer and Wayne Williams, Susan, Matthew and Keri, and the late Katherine, much adored Grandad of Jesse, Katherine, Jade, Stacey, Oliver, and Romola, loved brother and brother-in-law of Kitch (deceased) and Sue, Viv and Vern Harris, Bill and Gaile, and the late Brendan, loved brother-in-law of the late Pat Ward, and Annette Archer, a loved uncle, cousin, and a friend of many. Messages to 14 Sinnamon Street, Reefton 7830. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reefton, on Saturday, July 23 at 1.00pm. Greg will then be laid to rest with Ann and Katherine at Burkes Creek Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be held in the church on Friday, July 22, at 5.00pm.

To Greg's Family,
Love and thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
Greg and Dad shared times after Mum & Dad moved back to Reefton (Jan & Bernie Morris).
We caught up with Greg when Dad passed last year and appreciated his anecdotal memories of the past. Rest in Peace Greg.

Gregory Archer was a man I always respected as a schoolboy at RDHS. He lived close to my own parents there. I also went to school with his younger brother Kitch. The last time I saw him was at my cousin Barbara's funeral. I am sorry I can't make it to the funeral but please accept my sympathy. I admired Greg so much, that we named our firstborn after him, something I had often reminded him of. In fact,I had great respect for all the Archer family I knew. RIP Greg.
