Dear Ian, Derryn,& Leanne,
Sincere sympathies to you and all your families.
I have many wonderful childhood memories of such happy, loving times with Aunty Gwen, Uncle Bob yourselves, cousins, uncles and aunts all lovingly welcomed to share' your Christmas holiday time at the Bach's down at the Marlborough Sounds, Douglas's, and then Moutapu - we were all lovingly welcomed and shared and ll the fun of play, swimming, fishing, waterskiing, cricket, even with a few underarms' bowled . Everyone got involved from Nana, Aunties, Uncles, kids.
Then nighttime ........The walk up to check on the glow worms , scary sometims, (Rex Wratt hiding & grunting around In the bush ...eek!)
Back to a few drinks, fun & games, lots of debates, but lots of laughter and above all love and care for us all.
On the stroke of midnight, New Year's Eve, we all joined hands and joyfully celebrated with Auld Land Syne' - and a midnight swim for some . So many happy moments .......lovingly reminisced, thanks to you all, .. Aunty Gwen's passing is the end of their family generation - all well lived and an example of lovingly embracing family values'.

Sincere sympathy to the Warren family on the loss of such a dear mother and grandmother. Your Mother was a legend making and helping other Mothers to make costumes, back in the 'Betty Campbell' days. Always so skilled and ready to help others. In later years she often visited my Mother at 'Redwood Rest home' ---delivering the most magnificent shortbread!! A lovely lady ---your memories will be precious. Barbara Renfrew (Finnie)
