1924 - 2024

Passed away peacefully at Springlands Lifestyle Village on Sunday, June 2, 2024. Dearly loved wife of the late George, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Bruce and Diana, Paul and Tracey. Loved gran of Louisa, Anna and Craig, Brendan and Shae, Hayden and Anya; loved great-gran of Petra and Violet. Loved sister of Judy and Sue, sister-in-law of Peter. The family would like to thank Springlands Lifestyle Village for the wonderful care of Gwen. Messages may be sent to 6 Scotston Grove, Witherlea, Blenheim 7201. A family farewell has been held in accordance with Gwen's wishes.

My condolences to Bruce and Paul. I remember Aunty Gwen cooking up spaghetti and saveloys for lunch whilst visiting Paul as a youngster. Best fed ever and never forgot it.

Goodbye Aunty Gwen, actually 2nd Cousin. Fond memories of chatting with you & hearing you say 'I know everything!' (About family history. You beat Mum (Verna) in the age race by 2 years. Your middle name from your beloved Aunty Kate (my grandmother). Not in touch with many of our Squire family nowadays.
