Dearly loved wife of Royce. Proud mother and mother-in-law to Greg and Jan, Steve and Jackie, Deirdre, Lindy and Pete Knowles and Kate and Stu. Loving Nanelle to Emily and Chris, Alice, Stevie and Darcy, Ruby Frankie, Jim, Greg and Shevaun, Tom and Sophie. Great Nanelle to Thea, Frankie, Sunny, Reef and Marley Rose. Much loved sister of Ian Cunningham and his family. Treasured memories of Gwenette.
We met through Deidre at HVHS. Gwenette kindly accompanied me for my Violin exams.
She was a superb musician, teacher and mentor.
The best laughs were with Gwenette, Donald and Jacqueline. Laughing until we could hardly breathe.

Gwenette you were a great friend, colleague to me and an amazing accompanist for the Marlborough Girls College Choir Bella Voce and Ovation over many years. Those girls that had the privilege of singing with you truly loved your empathetic style of accompaniment over the many years that you played for us. We had many great times together, both musically and socially. You will be truly missed but always remembered with fondness.

To Gwenette's Family: we knew you all and Royce and Gwenette from our days at Wallaceville in the late 1960's. We have kept in touch all those years! We visited Gwenette (thanks to Gavin K) a few days ago while passing through Blenheim. We have such fond memories of Gwenette, her amazing sense of fun, her love of music and her dedication to spreading the love of music in all forms "to the world"!
