Heather KING Obituary

On October 2, 2024 after a short illness, at Hospice SC, aged 79 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Phillipa and Ron Ryle, loved and respected Nan of Samuel, and Brooke, elder daughter of the late Bobbie and Mark Ivey, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Shirley and the late Tony Godkin, and Keith and Jenny, loved aunt of her nieces and nephews, and a loved cousin. Grateful thanks to the staff at SC Hospice for their wonderful care given. A service for Heather will be held at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street, Timaru, on Tuesday, October 8 at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice SC would be appreciated and may be left at the service. I worked with Heather for a number of years and she was always such fun - a few times I managed to get a sneaky "Go the Wallabies" sign on her back and she would walk around with it on before discovering it and going cross at me. My daughter was born on her 60th birthday so every year there has been birthday wishes between us.
