LANE, Herbert (Bert): On September 14, 2014, at Redwood Lifestyle Care & Village. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Beryl, loved father of Michael and Terry. Brother of Ada, Arthur (deceased), and Gerald (Te Awamutu). Loved grandad of Justin and Bridget, and great-grandad of Angus and Juliette. Messages to 12a Bythell Street, Blenheim 7201. A service for Bert will be held at the Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, at 1pm on WEDNESDAY, September 17, followed by internment at Fairhall Cemetery.

Sorry to hear the very sad news on Bert's passing. Bert treated me like their third son. Many a great time was had at the City hotel as well the family home in Budge Street.
