Ian passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, in Motueka, aged 79 years. As per his wishes, a private service was held last Monday, in Takaka. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Marjorie Sutherland (nee Anker) for 56 wonderful years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Raewyn and Peter Pontikis (Williamstown Vic, Australia) and Bruce and Renata Sutherland (Mackay Qld, Australia). Beloved Grandfather of Matthew, Alena, Sam and Niki. Messages to 24 Richmond Road, Pohara, Takaka.
