James Echelon (Jim):
Passed away December 14, 2016, at Wairau Hospital, aged 78 years, surrounded by his whanau. Dearly loved husband of the late Linda. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Wayne and Sandy, Gary and Carrollyn, Karleen and Richard Eyles and the late Rana. A loved Grandpop and Great-Grandpop to all of his grandchildren. Dearly loved son of the late Arthur and Martha Aldridge. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Rosie, the late Harry, the late Betty and Frank Wallace, the late Charlie, and Margaret and George and Ngaro. Much loved by all his nieces and nephews and whanau. A special thank you to Donna and Jake and the amazing staff at Seaview Resthome and the staff at Wairau Hospital. Messages to 10 Kaituna Place, Havelock 7100. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Life Flight Trust, c/- PO Box 14-449, Wellington 6241, would be appreciated or may be made at the service. Jim will be at the Waikawa Marae from 3.30pm Thursday. A funeral for Jim will be held at the Waikawa Marae, Picton, on Saturday, December 17, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium.
