Dear Evelyn
It is with much sadness that Gavin and I learned today or your dear Jim´s passing into the next world.
What a long and courageous battle he fought the past 49 years with the love of you beside him and his dear daughter and her family
No one will know what you all gave but we do know it was not in vain.
We hope the happy memories you shared with Jim give you some comfort at this time.

Remembering Jim from when he had "Colours for Art " in Kuripuni, Masterton. Always think of him when I look at his painting on our lounge wall. Engaging, friendly and a great sense of humor. Sending love to Evelyn and family. Pam & Brian McInnarney- Cookware Essentials. Sunshine Coast, Queensland

I was a frequent visitor to Colours for Art, where Jim would take time to discuss the points of interest in a painting. Much of the artworks that hang on my walls were framed under Jim's guidance. Only just a few days ago I took a photo of the sunsetting on our large expansive Wairarapa skyline. I sent this photo to my friend and fellow painter Vincent Ward and told him "It's a Jim Campbell sky." He was kind and gentle and I so enjoyed our conversations.
