Miss Janet Helen Hadfield formerly of Meehan Street passed away peacefully at Springlands Lifestyle Village on Thursday, July 18, aged 90 years. There will be a private cremation followed by a Memorial celebration of Janet's life at a date and place to be advised. So sorry to hear of Janet's passing. A relief for her. She was one of life's characters. The Lady Mayoress of Meehan st. Things were never dull when Janet was around. She will be missed.

I´m so sorry to read Janet was living in Springlands as I would have loved to visit her. We worked together in Dunedin back in the early 70´s sharing many laughs - a lovely and interesting lady. RIP Janet
