Janice OSBORN Obituary
(Thame, nee Parkes):
Born in Stratford 1945, died unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home in Havelock on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. Her heart could give no more. Sadly missed by her daughter Jannine with Gary Pope of Wakefield, son Larry with Leanne of New Plymouth, and son David with Emma of Canvastown, by her grandchildren, and by the many friends made over her years of community work. So very sad to learn of Jans passing. I first met her when she worked at Wairau Hospital as a home support worker. And I have roses in my garden which she struck as cuttings many years ago when she learned I was starting a rose garden. A woman with a big heart and quick wit. Rest in peace Jan.

Sincere condolences on your sad loss. I am so sad that I never got to meet your Mum, thanks to this lockdown, but I will cherish the phone calls that I had with her over these past few weeks, the last being on Thursday the 9th April. You surely knew how to laugh Jan, and make me laugh. You are truly a Parkes, my husband's 1st cousin once removed.

To Jans family,
Condolences to all of Jans family, a real shock to read of Jans passing.
I met Jan thru The Marlborough Saleyards where she use to keep us we'll feed with her cooking treats, on special sale days.
She was a very warm & generous lady who will be sorely missed by all that a had new her.
