Tatsue Watanabe Obituary

January 6, 1929-December 18, 2012 Unexpectedly but peacefully at home on December 18, 2012, in her eighty-third year. Beloved wife of Shigeru and devoted mother to Donald Hiroshi and Sharon Mariko. Loving sister and sister-in-law to Hisako, Mieko, Kiyoko, Kazuko, Day, and Amy, as well as aunt to many nieces and nephews in Japan and elsewhere. Predeceased by her older brother Hajime (2007). The family will receive condolences at the Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, on Saturday, December 22nd from 7 to 10 pm and Sunday, December 23rd from 12 to 3 pm. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, December 23rd at 3pm in the chapel of the centre funéraire. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Montreal Japanese United Church, 8120 Champagneur, Montréal (QC) H3N 2K6, where she was long-time and dedicated member.
