Jay ANDERSON Obituary
ANDERSON, Jay
Jay Anderson of Nelson, Yellowknife, Canmore, and Burlington began a new journey on Septemer 11th, 2006. Continuing to experience the wisdom of his teachings are Rupert and Sedna, Shannon, Bob, Joanne and Ron, Frank and Dianna. Jay, you'll travel well knowing you were courageous enough to be right. Passionate, curious, complex and firm in this truth, Jay Anderson felt the lure of life. He challenged what was comfortable, challenged what was easy, and challenged what was prescribed. He dared to teach those who should have known, but willingly shared his own humanity with those who were truly masters. He explored the boundaries of his mind and body, and recognized the possibilities of his spirit. A brilliant thinker, an innovative millwright, he was as comfortable with the working of his hands as with his mind. You had to work hard to be Jay's friend, but once earned, you were well rewarded. He would take you out to see the clouds beyond the mountains. He would drive you to the end of the road. He would have you paddle for days without encountering another. He would show you places that were there but remained unseen only because they were waiting to be found by the one who was willing to work at finding them. Jay always found them. He always saw the forest and the trees. Journey on, my love.
