Jean GILL Obituary

GILL, Jean Lily:
Nelson, formerly of Kaikoura. Dearly loved wife of Colin (deceased). Passed away peacefully on March 1, 2018, in her 99th year. Loved mother of Lyndsy, Bevan, Alistair, Marie (dec) Roslyn (dec). Loved mother-in-law of Annette, Ann and Philippa. Loved "Nan" of Stephen and Paula Gill; Dean, Craig and Grant Kennedy; Melissa and Regan Gill; Simon, Toni and Michael Gill; and all their partners. Loved great-nan of her 13 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to all the staff who cared for Jean on both Ward 10 and the Medical Ward at Nelson Hospital.

To all of my many friends both near and far - I wish to thank you all for the love and friendship that we have shared over many years. I loved you all and now I say farewell. It is my wish to leave this world as quietly as I arrived. No funeral or funeral service. I just wish to slip away over the rainbow.
Following Jean's wishes a private cremation has been held.
