PEARSON, Joan Kathleen
(nee Staples):
Joan passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, on August 29, 2021, at Springlands Lifestyle Village in her 80th year. Beloved wife and soulmate of the late Colin. Treasured and much loved mum, mother-in-law and best friend of Glenn and Lady (Melbourne); Di and Brian Benseman; Jo and Erin Funnell. Dearly loved Nanna of her grandchildren and partners, and great-grandchildren. Dearly loved cousin and friend to many. Due to circumstances a private cremation took place. A celebration of Joan's life will now be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim, on Saturday, January 29 at 1.00pm. Vaccine Passes will be required, and the event is limited to 100 people. For those that can't attend the service for Joan this will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
