On July 8, 2025, Joan passed away peacefully at Elmswood Care Centre, Christchurch, aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Warren (Rowdy) and Sheryl, Lynda and Ivan Steele, and Malcolm and Rochelle. Treasured Nana to Jason, Scott and Maddy; Kieran and Menna, Adam, Jess and Hamish, and Elliot; Jack, and Esther, also loved by Sheryl and Rochelle's children, loved Great-Nana to Ella, and Harper; Hugo, and Ted.

Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Joan Robertson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Joan's life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Saturday, July 12, at 2.00pm, private cremation thereafter.
