Dear Dean, Craig, Donna and the Marris Family
I was very sorry to hear John has passed away. My sincere condolences to you all at this difficult and sad time.
I first met John in late 2006 and enjoyed working on a variety of interesting assignments for him. John was always involved and up to date with all aspects of the International Telematics business - day to day issues right through to executive Board decisions. He was also approachable and accessible, often just a phone call away, even despite a very full schedule. On many an occasion I found that John was able to pin point an issue and suggest a practicable way forward in a timely and efficient manner, often all within the hour! In short, John's insight and business acumen were invaluable.
On a personal note, I found John a warm and thoughtful person who took the time to appreciate others. I enjoyed working for him and feel privileged to have met him.
Our kindest regards and deepest sympathy

Brent
Saddened to hear of John's passing, our deepest condolences and sympathy to you and all of your family. I enjoyed the times through work and conversations with your dad when you were a student working the vintages at the Montana Riverlands winery. He was the man on the spot, the right man at the right time with a vision that he envisioned and built upon.
Kindest Regards
John (JT) and Jacque Taylor, Perth, WA.

My experience of John was his warmth, kindness, professionalism and humility. He could be "fierce" when required, but his energy was directed at achieving for the wider good and not solely for his own. Blessings to his family, he'll be missed.
