Hey dad I miss you. You will always have place in my heart

I have only learned of the passing of you Mr P, as I always called you in the Vineyards. We had a lot of laughs over the years and we talked a lot of down south as we were both from there. Good old Southerlanders! You taught me lots of knots used for fencing and I always enjoyed your stories. I will miss seeing you around.

I can always remember going to Wyndham to see my new cousin. We were to be very quiet and just have a "peek". And Mona and Eric used to be quite unsettled as grand-dad Otto, would always be going in to see his new grandson - and often wake John up!! My mother was asked to talk to Otto!!
Not sure if it did any good.
Very sorry for your loss.

Farewell John. What a privilage it was when you told me I was a 'good mate' the last time we saw each other such a short time ago.
Was good to keep in touch with you and Marie over the years post vineyard days, we indeed all became good mates. Thank you for a special friendship I will treasure forever with you both.
