Karen and I worked together at Opus some 20 odd years ago - I was in Nelson and she was in Blenheim. She came to our office regularly and over the years we would catch up sometimes in Wellington with work. She was such a bright spark - light up a room. Very kind and so good at her job. I was so sad to hear this news. RIP Karen.

Karen was a work colleague with Opus, while i worked in Napier.. Her and I frequently had phone calls to help each other out with any problems. She was always very friendly and enjoyed a good chat. She was very dedicated to her work. She will be sadly missed. RiP Karen. Condolences to her family.

One of our very happy memories. Look closely, you'll see, David with a beer in hand and Karen looking back to make sure the bonfire David lit wont burn the lodge down. You two gave us a home and became our dearest friends. From this BBQ we enjoyed many events that always involved wonderful food and great Red Wines. Karen's smile warmed every room she was in and her friendship lasted time and distance. We hold David and your family close in our thoughts and prayers. The world has lost one of its beautiful people. Always Chriss and Stephen
