For Lauchie and Megan - I think it worthwhile to quote in full, the beautiful love song your father read out at your Mum's funeral. Sadly, this moment was lost when a hysterical friend of your Mum's was unable to contain her grief. Time to put that right. Here it is then - the loveliest tribute I have ever heard at a funeral. It makes my skin shiver to read it even now.

One of the absolute best history teachers, used to love hearing tales about his father's life and how it was so different to how we live now. Condolences to family and friends and may he Rest in Peace

I was moved when you read this Burns' poem in full at Sally's funeral Ken. Lovely to think of you being reunited with your "bonny lass" at last.

"And fare thee weel, my only love, And fare thee weel awhile. And I will come again my love, tho' 'twere ten thousand mile."

Rest in Peace Ken xx it has been an honour knowing you and hearing your stories. My thoughts and condolences are with the family.
