For Lauchie and Megan - I think it worthwhile to quote in full, the beautiful love song your father read out at your Mum's funeral. Sadly, this moment was lost when a hysterical friend of your Mum's was unable to contain her grief. Time to put that right. Here it is then - the loveliest tribute I have ever heard at a funeral. It makes my skin shiver to read it even now.

O my love is like a red red rose
That´s newly sprung in June;
O my love is like a melody
That´s sweetly played in tune.

So fair art thou, my bonnie lass
So deep in love am I;
And I will love thee still my dear
Till a´ the seas run dry.

Till a´ the seas run dry, my dear
And rocks melt in the sun;
I will love thee still my dear,
While sands o´ life shall run.

So fare thee weel, my only love
And fare thee weel a while.
And I will come again my love
Tho´ ´twere ten thousand mile.

I was moved when you read this Burns' poem in full at Sally's funeral Ken. Lovely to think of you being reunited with your "bonny lass" at last.

"And fare thee weel, my only love, And fare thee weel awhile. And I will come again my love, tho' 'twere ten thousand mile."
