Kerry Gould Louis:
On Monday, October 30, 2017, at Brillig, Amberley, aged 74. Dearly loved husband of Nicky Vavasour, much loved father of Rosa (Cayman Islands), David (London), Abigail (Ashburton) and Ineke (Christchurch), and all grandchildren. The cremation has already been held, and a Celebration of Kerry's life will be held at Rossburn Receptions, Spark Lane, off Northbrook Road, Rangiora, on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 6.30pm. Messages may be addressed c/- Brillig, 263 Balcairn Road, RD 1, Amberley 7481. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Orana Wildlife Park would be appreciated.

Dear Nicky and family, I have just heard of Kerry's very sad death in 2017. I knew him very well when we were students in Auckland and also stayed with him and his delightful parents in Hatepe. We flatted together in Mt Eden and then Parnell and I stayed with you in Christchurch once many years ago on a visit from England, where I now live. Kerry and I always got on extremely well together. I have often thought of him since. What a splendid chap he was. I am extremely sorry to hear of his passing (from Howard Waugh) and send you all my belated sympathy. I wish I had seen more of you on my annual visits to NZ but was always based in Auckland, making Christchurch visits moderately difficult, though I did go occasionally, but without your contact details.
